IF a person doesn't even pay their own bills, how can the public think their order is going to be fulfilled?
 

This was a web hosting client of The Design Shoppe who had multiple problems with her own programming and did not want to pay the additional space her site was consuming.  Her web site had no issues UNTIL she received an invoice with the necessary upgrade.  It was reported that  she disregarded continuous invoices of payment due from October 10, 2006 through February 10, 2007 when she finally emailed and  "cancel me."

To date, due on this account is $8.95 per month for October 10, 2006 through March 10, 2007 at a total of $53.70.  The money is minimal, however. it is the principle that someone can think they can web host hop and not make their payments that are legitimately due.  The fix was simple - pay what was owed.  Period.

Who is this person, you ask?  Gayle Sathre-Zimmerman of Blossom Farm.  

The first reply was finally made in regards to the invoices due and her credit card continuing to decline.  Hosting company, The Design Shoppe's system sends invoices regularly and unless a customer continues to simply ignore them - they receive them.  As is obvious from the emails below, submitted by The Design Shoppe, Gayle Sathre-Zimmerman was refusing to make a simple $53.70 payment due for services, as she resorted to playing games, contradicting herself and even name-calling.

We do not have a cancellation from you until yesterday.  I know you are now with hypermart, but we are still hosting your account on our servers.  Per our terms of agreement, accounts renew automatically until we receive a 30 day written notice.

I don't understand what kept blocking you?  A host wouldn't know that you cancelled unless you let them know.  Your files are still on our server to date.

Bugging you for money?  You only paid me one time in almost two years?  I didn't wait to send a bill.  The billing system does it automatically and you do have it in your account.  It was on your behalf of ignoring payment.  When you said you tried to "check in", I don't know what you are talking about.  When hosting accounts are switched to another company from any company, you have to let them know in writing.  Your hosting was only switched recently to hypermart.  When you don't tell a host that you are leaving, your files are still on their server.  When you move hosts, files don't just disappear off the old. 
 
Rather than play email games back and forth, let me know if you are going to pay it or not.  If not, I will proceed with what we need to do.  It's just that simple.  I'd hope that someone would pay their bills due and be done.  It's that simple.  You only cancelled two days ago with us and had no problem telling me then.

Ok this is what I remember,  I -pay in October to December of 2005 that would take me to the following October to December 2006.  In which also did not receive a bill.
 I also remembering having to  upgrade with more memory last winter since my shopping cart would not work, I could not figure out why and I email you a hundred times what the problem would be and this is what you told me to do to upgrade with more bandwidth or something like that.

That is right.  We upgraded you and did not charge you for the additional space because you were a continued client with us.  That part was a favor.  As of now, your invoice due is 82.00 which was due on October 3, 2006.

Well since I am no longer with your company, why would I pay for another year for service until October 07?    I never received a bill in October, the other day is the first I heard about owing you additional money form October.

It doesn't matter when you transferred files.  Transferring files anyone can do.  You have to cancel with your previous host in order to let them know to dump those files and hosting account off the server or it stays there.  This is how hosting works.  Your hosting ends with us on 3/11/07.  That is 30 days notice from the day you cancelled hosting.  It is not our fault that you wanted to move to a another hosting company and break the terms with us that you agreed upon.  I'm now supposed to pro-rate and break our annual terms for you?  Or is it that you want to ignore any type of payment and this is why the email games are going back and forth?  We did nothing wrong to you.  Guaranteed, the same would apply to hypermart if you tried to sneak out on your bill with them.
 
If you want us to break our annual terms, then payment due at this time is:  $53.70.

Comments:  Note how she blames everything but herself for skipping out on payment what is due - everything from "you're unprofessional to send me a signed contract".   This is typical responses from someone that is guilty of ripping off another company.  Is this because she's done this over and over to people?
